Welcome

Howdy folks!  Welcome to the new Official site for Cannons North.  A new breed of Minneapolis country rockers that are keepin' things hot in the North Country.

Back in Action

Hello folks Cannons North is back in action but with some changes.  We recently had the departure of Brandon and we wish him all the best.  Jason which has been with us since the beginning  as well has also left the band.  We are happy to announce the new rhythm section as Frances Gonzales on drums and Joe Bjorke on the bass.  Cannons North plans to hit it harder than ever with new show announcement at Lee's Liquor Lounge on May 23rd.

We still plan to release our sophomore release but now as a 6 song E.P.  Due out right before the show on May 23rd.  These are some harder hitting songs that are quite different from Goodbye Dog.  We are very excited to get it out there.  Stay tuned for updates.

Hello folks!  We are offering a free download of "Carry Me Away" the opening track of our new album.  Enjoy!

A departure in Cannons North

Hello from the Cannons North camp.  We are sad to announce the departure of Brandon Laliberte as drummer of Cannons North.  This is especially hard for me because Brandon and I have playing together since early 2000's in our previous band Countach.  We do wish Brandon all the best in his journeys.  So we are currently seeking a new drummer.  I you have what it takes you can email us at cannonsnorth@yahoo.com We are still currently working on artwork for the new album and hopes to release it by the end of March beginning of April.

Cannons North in the studio

Hello folks it's been a while since we had an update.  We have been working hard to finish writing, demoing, and recording in the studio.  This winter has been brutal and trying to stay warm.  We recorded at Signaturetone Studios on Jan 18-19 and got a 10 song album done in 20 hours.  We're real proud of this one!  We are getting the art done and as soon as we get it we are putting it out.  No specific release date we'll just say as soon as possible.  Trying to get some spring dates nailed down so stay tuned.  We will be featuring one song from the new album as soon as the masters come back.  From all of us at the Cannons North camp "stay warm folks!"
